<p>The invention relates to a new utilization of niobium derivatives in the 4 or 5 oxidation status as active principle for the production of medicaments useful in the treatment and/or prevention of glucid and/or lipid metabolism troubles. The niobium derivatives useful according to the invention are in the form of mineral salts or organometallic salts or complexes. The medicaments are useful for the treatment of diabetes, hypercholesterolemy, hyperlipidemy, hypertriglyceridemy and complications associated to said pathologies.</p> |
