PURPOSE:To obtain a propulsion device which is hardly influenced by the external disturbance by taking out the centrifugal force which acts when the weights are revolved, as propulsion force. CONSTITUTION:When the rotary discs 17 and 18 in a rotary frame 15 are revolution-driven by a prime mover 16, a centrifugal force acts onto the weights 19 and 20 installed onto the rotary discs 17 and 18. Each radius of revolution of the weights 19 and 20 becomes max. when the direction towards the eights 19 and 20 from the center O of the rotary discs 17 and 18 coincides with the direction set by a direction setting mechanism 13, and said radius becomes min. in case of the reverse direction. Therefore, if a fixed frame 11 is fixed onto a hull so that the direction set by the direction setting mechanism 13 is set to the advance direction of a vessel, the centrifugal force can be utilized as propulsion force.
