Vehicle seat belt with thickened sections - uses transverse ribs spaced at set intervals to prevent inward rolling of the belt.
摘要
The safety belt is for an occupant restraint system in a vehicle. The belt has transversely running thickened sections spaced at regular intervals. The thickened sections are formed by cross ribs (12) spaced at a distance (a) and provided on the side of the belt directed away from the seat occupant. USE/ADVANTAGE - Safety feature which ensures that the side edges of the vehicle safety belt do not roll inwards to create a "rope" effect and so cause severe injury.
