Packaging-free detergent prods. comprise gelatin capsules contg. of body and/or textile-washing detergent paste, where the paste and capsule are supplied together to the washing process. The paste comprises: (a) 45-60% RO(CH2CH2O)2SO3Na, where R is a fatty alcohol residue; (b) 45-60% R(OCH2CH2)nOCOCH2CH(SO3Na)COONa, where n = 2-12; (c) 3-5% of a disodium alkyl sulphosuccinate, where the alkyl gp. is derived from a vegetable fatty acid; (d) 3-5% of a nonionic fatty acid alkanolamide; (e) 2-4% lanolin sulphosuccinate; (f) 0.1% citric acid; and (g) 0.1% of preservative free of HCHO and HCHO precursors. Pref component (d) is coco fatty acid isopropanolamide. The paste contains 3-5% water and no more than 3% alcohol. The capsules are hard or soft gelatin capsules.
