The cutlery container consists of a plate (1) in which are elongated holes (2) in grid fashion, the internal width of which is more than the maximum transverse width of each piece of cutlery (5, 6) near the handle (5', 6'), but less than the maximum transverse width of the cutlery above the handle. The plate has a stand and both are shaped and sized to fit inside a dishwasher. The edge of the plate has at least one handle (4). USE/ADVANTAGE - The cutlery is more easily handled, transported, cleaned and stored by being contained inside a perforated plate.
