<p>PURPOSE:To enable the recycling use of the whole desulfurized slag by specifying all of dipping depth of a blowing lance into molten iron, gas velocity of the lance tip part and flux at the time of desulfurizing the molten iron, in a molten iron trough on a casting floor in a blast furnace. CONSTITUTION:A desulfurizing reaction vessel is arranged in the molten iron trough on the casting floor in the blast furnace and flux from the blowing lance is injected into the molten iron with carrier gas to execute the desulfurization in the molten iron. Then the dipping depth of the blowing lance into the molten iron is made to be 700-1000mm and the gas velocity at the tip part of the lance is made to be >=60m/sec and, as the flux, burnt lime powder or the mixed flux of the burnt lime powder with lime stone powder is used. By this method, at the time of using the flux, which does not contain fluorite, the desulfurizing efficiency of the same grade is obtd. as the flux containing the fluorite and the whole desulfurized slag can be used in the recycle.</p> |
