摘要 PURPOSE:To easily use laser beam of a wave length which is suitable for efficient working corresponding to the quality of material to be machined by individually controlling the light quantity by modulating the wave length to two kinds of long and short waves. CONSTITUTION:A wave length modulating means is arranged on the optical path of a laser beam L outputted from a laser beam oscillator 21. A part of the laser beam L is modulated to the 2nd higher harmonic wave L1 with an SHG 22, and the 1st laser beam L1 is modulated to a 4th higher harmonic wave L2 with an FHG 23. The optical pathes of laser beams L1 and L2 are separated with a slit plate 27 and a dichroic mirror 28. The laser beams L1 and L2 that the transmission light quantity is controlled by an optical furnace correcting unit 29 is reflected with a dichroic mirror 37, converged with a condenser lens 38 and radiated on a material to be machined 8. The laser beam L1 or L2 can be selected by the turning angle of polarizers 31 and 35.
