PURPOSE: To provide a key mover mechanism of a high-speed rotary dobby of a simple structure which can be actuated by a controller acting only from the one side of a main crank arm only during the pause period of a drive shaft with an extremely low mass and high reliability. CONSTITUTION: The key mover mechanism (14) consists of the two keying levers (17 and 18) pivotally mounted on a cam (3) in opposing positions around a related key (5). While these keying levers cooperate at the adjacent ends, the keying levers are diametrically opposed about the axis of the dobby drive shaft spaced equidistantly therefrom and cooperate alternately with the single controller (15) which exists on one side of, the associated main crank arm (1) and is controlled by a logic unit (16).
