PURPOSE:To attain reduction in the cost of a device and the improvement of image quality by executing the scanning of a carriage and the paper feeding at timing corresponding to various kinds of image forming conditions without using a complex control program whose timing is set in advance, at the time of consecutively forming an image. CONSTITUTION:A reflection type photosensor detecting a sheet and a carriage detecting switch detecting a first carriage are provided and a paper feeding starting signal, a scan starting signal, and a roller starting signal, for the next copy, are transmitted to a paper feeding controller 106, a scanning controller 103, and a roller controller 104 with a central control signal 102, respectively, in response to a paper feeding completion previously noticing signal from the paper feeding controller 106, a scanning completion signal from the scanning controller 103, to control the timing. Thus, the device is reduced in the cost, and erroneous copying caused by the misalignment of an image can be prevented. |
