PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity for ordinary maintainance and inspection of a switching means by enabling the mechanical life of the switching means, the condition of a mechanism, and the condition of a contact part to be diagnosed from the frequency of switching operation and the operating time of the switching means and the flowing current upon the switching. CONSTITUTION:The switching command of a switch (a switching means) is commanded from computers 22 and 40, and respective switches are driven via an input-output buffer circuit 24 by this command. And working conditions of respective switches, such as the frequency of switchings or a flowing current upon the switching, are input and processed in the computer 40 via the input-output buffer circuit 24, etc., follwed by being stored in a memory part 40c. And the operating time is also measured and computed in an arithmetic logic part 40a. Next, the part 40a diagnoses the mechanical life of respective switches from the frequency of switching operations of respective switches, and diagnoses the conditions of mechanisms of respective switches from the operating time, and diagnoses the condition of the contact parts of respective switches from the flowing current. Accordingly, ordinary maintainance and inspection of a switching means becomes unnecessary, so that the cost of maintainance can be reduced while improving the availability factor. |
