<p>PURPOSE:To prevent destruction of data by not only supplying power from a power supply device but also performing the shut down processing during a momentary power failure at the time of the occurrence of the momentary power failure. CONSTITUTION:When a momentary power failure within a prescribed time occurs, noting is done, and operation of a computer 3 is continued. If a momentary power failure continuing for the prescribed time or longer occurs, an AC power input 11 is sent from a power supply device 1 to a power break detecting circuit 5. Then, the power break detecting circuit 5 detects the momentary power failure, and a power break interrupt signal 12 is generated to the computer 3 before power supply from a battery 4 is impossible. Then, the running program in the computer 3 is stopped by the power break interrupt signal 12, and data is written in a magnetic disk 2, and the shut down processing is automatically performed. Thereafter, a power cut-off command signal 13 is generated to a power supply means mechanism 6 from the power break detecting circuit 5 to cut off the power supply to the computer 3.</p> |
