摘要 PURPOSE:To increase the charge-discharge performance of a lead-acid battery and to lengthen the life by retarding the influence of an electric resistor formed on the surface of a substrate. CONSTITUTION:Molten tin or Pb-Sn alloy 1 kept at high temperature is supplied in drops onto the surface of a substrate 3 from the nozzle of a pipe 2 to form an alloy layer 1' with the substrate 3. Directly bonded parts of a cathode active material with the substrate are ensured and the supplied tin or Pb-Sn alloy are alloyed with the substrate there. Even if the tin or Pb-Sn alloy supplied in drps is oxidized, SnO2 having good conductivity is formed, and the electrical contact of the active material with the substrate is surely maintained and tin is diffused into the substrate to increase the oxidation resistance of the substrate. The electrical contact of the active material with the substrate is excellently maintained and the corrosion resistance of the substrate is increased.
