PURPOSE:To easily change panning and to easily put it back to the original panning by storing panning data in a storage means stored with automatic performance data or accompaniment data of an automatic performance. CONSTITUTION:This electronic musical instrument is equipped with the storage means 7 stored with performance data and the panning data which indicate whether the panning is put back into its default state or set in a specific state, and a CPU 5 indicates sound generation according to the accompaniment data read out of the storage means 7; when the panning data are read out, the panning is put back into the default state or set in the specific state according to the panning data and a panning circuit 10 receives the indication from the CPU 5 to put the panning back into the default state or set the panning in the specific state. The panning can easily be changed halfway during the automatic accompaniment or performance and also put back to the original panning without stopping the automatic accompaniment or automatic performance. |
