The appts. frame (10) allows the modules (18,20,22) to be fitted into the frame from two opposing directions on opposite sides of the frame. Both sides are separated by a connection plate (28) carrying the plug sockets (38,40,42) for the module contacts on its opposing surfaces. Pref. the connections plate (28) is fitted into a guide (32) extending perpendicular to the insertion direction of the modules (18,20,22).
