<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of data writing by providing a reading means for an identification code, a data registration means wherein data are registered in accordance with the identification code, and means for writing operation of IC card. CONSTITUTION:When an IC card 13 is automatically supplied to a conveyor 10 by a card loader 11, the conveyor 10 transports the individual IC cards 13 (13a, 13b, 13c) in the direction of the arrow. When these IC cards are transported in order, IC card 13a reaches the upward part of a data writing head 21 and IC card 13b reaches the downward part of a bar code reader 20, the conveyor 10 temporary stops its transporting action. Subsequently, the data writing head 21 rises to contact with individual terminals of an IC chip of the IC card 13b and the bar code reader 20 falls to be set on a bar code position of the IC card 13b. The data writing head 21 writes an identification code data into an inner memory of the IC chip contained in the IC card 13a.</p> |
