PURPOSE:To improve a volumetric efficiency of a refrigerator or a cooling efficiency of a high humidity chamber and further eliminate an exclusive lamp within the high humidity chamber by a method wherein a cold air passage for use in cooling the high humidity chamber is arranged at a partition plate for use in parting a refrigeration chamber and a vegetable chamber and the like and at the same time the upper plate of the high humidity chamber is made transparent. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerator is constructed such that the lower-most part within a refrigerator chamber 2 has a high humidity chamber 12 for indirectly cooling a closed container from its surrounding part and keeping an inside of the closed container at the high humidity under evaporation of moisture of food itself stored in the closed container. Then, the deep side of a partition plate 10 for defining a refrigerator chamber 2 and a vegetable chamber 3 is provided with a bottom plate 11 forming the lower surface of the refrigerator chamber 2. In this case, the upper plate 15 of the high humidity chamber 12 is made of transparent material so as to enable the stored food to be seen through it. A cold in passage 16 is arranged between the refrigerator chamber bottom plate 11 and the high humidity chamber 12, the cold air fed from the cold air feeding duct 17 is guided, thereby the high humidity chamber 12 is indirectly cooled. With such an arrangement, cooling efficiency or volumetric efficiency is improved and the exclusive lamp for the high humidity chamber 12 is eliminated. |
