METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PRESS MOLDING FOR PLASTIC MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To stably perform molding even if an extremely eccentric loading occurs by performing press control of each of a pair of pressure cylinders in accordance with setting of supporting pressure of an equilibrium supporting apparatus therebelow during a slide moved by means of a pair of left and right pressure cylinders is lowered by pressure. CONSTITUTION:A plastic material 12 is press-molded by a method wherein a slide 5 and a bed 4 are each positioned and a plastic material 12 such as a sheet-like material is placed between a top mold 9 and a bottom mold 10 and the slide 5 is moved slidingly toward the lower bed 4 part by actuating a pair of pressure cylinders 6 being placed symmetrically in a crown 2 part. On four corners of the bed 4, an equilibrium supporting apparatus 14 wherein a leveling cylinder is hanged is provided and the slide is supported thereby at an equilibrium condition. In such a press as this, during the slide is lowered by pressure, each pressure cylinder 6 is press-controlled in accordance with setting of the supporting pressure of the equilibrium supporting apparatus 14 below them to make it possible to lower the slide being kept in equilibrium.
