PURPOSE:To materialize satisfactory superimposition printing by improving accuracy in positioning of a master plate and a work plate on a linear stage. CONSTITUTION:The subject apparatus is equipped with image sensors 14 and 15 provided on a linear stage 4 and position correcting motors 8-13 that are arranged respectively around a master plate 6 and a work plate 7. The positions of the master plate 6 and the work plate 7 on the linear stage 4 are detected with the image sensors 14 and 15 and when the detected positions are deviated from reference positions, the positions of the master plate 6 and the work plate 7 are corrected respectively in accordance with the amount of deviations by operation of the motors 8-13. After the correction, the linear stage 4 and a roller transfer drum 1 are moved synchronously, and thereby transfer is made. |
