PURPOSE:To avoid the damage of magnetic head, by providing the groove of cocentricity, on the magnetic disc surface of the loading zone of the magnetic disc providing the loading zone in use with the contact start-stop system. CONSTITUTION:In the magnetic disc 1 providing the loading zone 2 in use with the contact start-stop system, cocentric groove 15 is provided on the surface of the magnetic disc 1 of the loading zone 2. In this case, the groove 15 is provided by corresponding to the circle drawn when the read/write gap 6 of the magnetic head 4 is located in the contact start-stop system, and the width is made greater than the track width 14 and smaller than the width of the air bearing 7, and it is preferable to fill in lubricant in the groove 15. Thus, the damage of the magnetic head 4 in contact with the surface of the magnetic disc 1 can be avoided. |
