摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To restrain both the partial abrasion in the tangential direction of a pad and the partial abrasion in the radial direction of a disc in a disc brake. CONSTITUTION:The pressing center P of a brake piston 3 is polarized (L) from the center 0 of frictional surface of a pad 4 to the disc side so that the pressing pressure of a piston 3 is stronger on the disc turning out side to reduce the variation of pad surface pressure in the tangential direction of a disc caused by the angular moment generated in the pad at the time of braking. The pressing center P is polarized from the tangential direction axis of a disc passing the center of the frictional surface to the disc center side so that the pressing pressure of the piston 3 is stronger on the inner peripheral side of the disc than the outer peripheral side thereof. Thus, a difference of work per unit area and unit hour between the disc outer peripheral side of the pad and the inner peripheral side thereof caused by the peripheral speed difference of the disc is lessened so as to reduce the partial abrasion of the pad in the radial direction of the disc and prevent the disadvantage such as the performance change or the like caused by the partial abrasion.</p>
