PURPOSE:To keep the form of a louver unchanged so as to obtain desired light distribution characteristics of a lighting fixture by engaging the stretching portion of each reflecting plate fixed to a lighting fixture main body and the upper edge of the louver with each other when the louver is installed in the lighting fixture main body. CONSTITUTION:A reflecting face 17 surrounding the upper portion of each fluorescent lamp 3 and a stretching portion 18 making contact with a folded portion 16 are formed in the respective portions of right and left reflecting plate 5. The stretching portion 18 located between adjacent fluorescent lamps 3 has a bent piece 19 which is bent downwards from the end of the stretching portion 18 and the stretching portion 18 is connected to the bent piece 19 by a connecting plate 20. Both sides of a louver 6 are held on a lighting fixture main body 1 via hooks 9 or attaching members 11, and reflecting members 7 located on both sides of the louver 6 are each allowed to stay in a fixed position by means of reduction of the difference between the width of the louver 6 and that of the opening of the lighting fixture main body 1 or by other methods. Each of the reflecting members 7 located at the middle portion of the louver 6 and between adjacent fluorescent lamps 3 are each fixed in its predetermined position because the folded portion 16 formed at the upper edge of each reflecting member 7 is made to abut on the stretching portion 18 of each reflecting plate 5 and the outside edge of each reflecting member 7 on the bent piece 19 of the stretching portion 18. Deformation of the louver 6 is thus prevented so as to obtain desired light distribution characteristics of the lighting fixture.
