PURPOSE:To prevent a color filter from being broken even when correction is executed and to improve display quality by forming the color filter at the light transmission part of each picture element which is not covered with a black matrix. CONSTITUTION:The black matrix 8 is formed in a state where a part other than a picture element electrode 20, that is, the part which does not perform display such as a gate bus line 1, a source bus line 2, a TFT (thin film transistor) 3, an auxiliary capacity contact part 5 and a correction part 4 may be covered therewith. Meanwhile, the color filter 7 which is a reverese pattern to the black matrix 8 is formed at the part which is not covered with the black matrix 8, that is, all over the area of the light transmission part 6. Namely, the filter parts of respective colors, red, green and blue, which constitute the color filter 7 are formed at the respective light transmission parts 6 one by one. Thus, the color filter 7 has constitution that it is not overlapped on the TFT 3 and the correction part 4 at all. |
