The back and front upper parts are joined by fastenings and tighteners (27). The bottom shell has two side wings (6,6') extending upwards and to which connections (8,8') are fixed joining the wings to the back upper part which has a pull-element (14). The connections are fixed at one anchor-point (7) to each of the side wings, and run parallel to the sole round the back of the upper, and are connected by deflectors (13) to the pull-element. Each upper side has a hole (12) through which the connections, such as cables, go. ADVANTAGE - The boot can have its upper pre-set at a certain angle to the bottom shell, and has an adjustable back support.
