<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption of a coordinate pointer having a power supply for a wireless coordinate reader. CONSTITUTION:A drive instruction signal generating circuit 6 applies a drive instruction signal s3 to a loop line group 2. A coordinate pointer a detects the signal s3 through a drive instruction signal detecting circuit 82. Then a drive circuit 84 produces a drive signal s10 under the control of a drive control circuit 83. A coil 81 generates an AC magnetic field with the signal s10 and therefore an induction signals S1 is produced to the group 2 in accordance with the position of the pointer 8. A loop line is selected by a scanning circuit 3 and at the same time the signal s1 is led to a signal processing circuit 5 and then inputted to a control circuit 7 for calculation of the coordinate value.</p> |
