The invention relates to radiation-sterilisable packaging units for medical articles, which packaging units consist of two films which are bonded together in an adhesive-free manner and such that they can be separated, are in each case coextruded, form a lumen and are made of physiologically harmless recyclable plastic material, the films being arranged separately from one another outside the lumen in at least a partial region of the adjacent surfaces and the transparent basic film and the opaque cover film which can be printed at least on one side consisting of a homopolymer or copolymer of styrene or of a homopolymer or copolymer of ethylene.
