<p>A device comprising an electromagnetic motor with a moving permanent magnet (15) having two plane parallel surfaces on at least one of which at least one series of poles with identical signs is provided. The poles are movable in the air gaps of corresponding magnetic circuits (5) which form part of a motor stator and are coupled to at least one field coil (12) receiving a pulsed or sinusoidal energizing current. The magnet (15) is rigidly connected to a movable component (11, 14) which is subjected to a resilient return force and urged by an energizing current pulse, against said return force, from a rest position to a maximum travel position, whereafter it is returned to the rest position by another energizing current pulse and/or said return force. The device is particularly useful in medical saws, pumps and transporting and loading vibrators.</p> |
