PURPOSE:To easily and safely carry out igniter fixing work in a short time by providing an external peripheral section which has projections made of resin in the area which abut on the hole section of a housing or adapter in an igniter, and providing a recessed section in which the projections are fitted in the hole section. CONSTITUTION:The internal periphery of the center cylindrical body 1a of a closure shell 3 constitutes a hole section in which an igniter, that is, a squib 10 is arranged, and this hole section 18 has a recessed section 17 in which the projection 16 of the is fitted. The squib 10 is made of resin and has an external peripheral section 20 which abut on the hole section 18. The external periphery 20 is provided with a plurality of projections 16 in equal spacing. The squib 10 is positioned in the axial and peripheral direction to a housing by fitting these projections 16 in the recessed section 17. In the case of fitting, when the squib 10 is inserted in the hole section 18, the projections 16 move in the radial direction, changing a resin layer to make it possible to insert the squib 10 in the hole section, and the squib 10 is axially inserted while being rotated. |
