PURPOSE:To maintain performance on ice from the beginning to end of wear while suppressing uneven wear. CONSTITUTION:A tread face 2 is divided into rows 11, 11 of blocks on both sides and rows 15 of blocks at the center of 1 to 3 rows between them by longitudinal grooves 3 which extend in peripheral direction of tire and lateral grooves 5 which cross them. The lateral grooves 5 which divide the rows 15 of blocks at the center include shallow lateral grooves 6 whose bottom is shallower than the longitudinal grooves 3 and form siping 20 at the bottom face of the shallow lateral grooves 6. As for the shallow lateral grooves 6 and siping 20, they have specific shape and arrangement. |
