PURPOSE:To increase the fuel injection pump efficiency by preventing decrease in the feed pump efficiency and increase in the fuel leak quantity during a low-speed operation. CONSTITUTION:A conical valve 25 is formed in a fuel passage 22 of a pressure regulation valve 1 communicated with a fuel gallery of a fuel injection pump. At a position downstream from this valve seat 25, a ball valve 26 is disposed so as to close the fuel passage 22 while seated on the valve seat 25. The fuel passage 22 is formed so that the inside diameter of the fuel passage 22 portion at the side downstream of the valve seat 25 may become stepwise large to constitute a variable restrictor portion 29 in which the amount of restriction of the fuel passage 22 changes in corresponding relation to the amount of lift of the ball valve 26. |
