Pharmaceutical compositions for internal use contain p-amino benzoic acid (I), or its acid addn salts with a mineral or organic base, in association with, or mixed with, a non-toxic, pharmaceuti-cally-acceptable inert excipient or vehicle. The unit dose is 400-1000 mg, esp. 400-600 mg, and the adult daily dose is 1.5-6 g.
