PURPOSE:To prevent disorderly updating to copy data by judging the identifier of a storage medium, permitting writing when the storage medium is an original and prohibiting writing when it is a copy. CONSTITUTION:When the initialization of the storage medium D is selected, a main control part 1 gives indication to an identifier giving part 3 and the identifier indicating the original is given to the storage medium D. When the copy is indicated, the main control part 1 gives a command to a data reading part 4 and a data writing part 5 so that picture data is copied in the storage medium D and also gives the command to the identifier giving part 3 so that the identifier which indicates the copy is given. When writing is executed in the storage medium D, an identifier judging part 6 judges the identifier and the main control part permits picture data to be written in the storage medium D when it is the original. When the identifier judging part 6 judges that it is the copy, the main control part 1 displays a message that the storage medium D is the copy and waits succeeding indication from a user. |
