PURPOSE:To provide the electronic stringed instrument which enables a stringed instrument performance while giving a variation to an accompaniment which is apt to become monotonous without using any special dedicated switch. CONSTITUTION:When a control part 3 analyzes the mode of string plucking manipulation according to the pickup signal outputted by a guitar pickup part 1, one of accompaniment patterns stored in an accompaniment pattern storage part 4 is selected according to the analytic result. Consequently, control is so performed that a musical tone is automatically generated according to the selected accompaniment pattern. Therefore, one accompaniment pattern is selected among the stored accompaniment patterns only by changing the way of string plucking manipulation and the musical tone is generated by a musical tone generation part 8 and an amplification and reproduction part 9 according to the selected accompaniment pattern without using any special dedicated switch. |
