<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability of menu editing by enabling a user to easily edit the menus of application software. CONSTITUTION:This menu editing device is equipped with a menu storage part 2 where the hierarchic structure of the menus of the application software is described, a display device 3 which displays the structure of the menus to the user, a pointing device 4 with which the user specifies an object of the menu editing and its editing method, a character input device 5 on which the user inputs characters, and a control part 1 which alters the structure in the menu storage part 2 according to the user's indication. Further, the user operates buttons over a look at the screen of the display device 3 and a necessary new menu is easily generated by a new menu generation processing part 6, etc.</p> |
