PURPOSE:To detect at a glance whether a pan is suited or not for heating and a maximum applicable output of the pan suited for heating without placing a utensil in a heated condition, in the induction heating utensil used in a general home. CONSTITUTION:A utensil comprises a pan inspecting means 7, pan inspection input means 9 for indicating decision of a pan by the pan inspecting means 7, pan inspection display means 10 for displaying a decision result of the pan inspecting means 7 and a control means 13 for controlling these means. In this way, whether the pan is suited or not for heating is decided without placing the utensil in a heating condition, and also displaying a capable maximum output value when this pan is used. |
