PURPOSE:To attain timer recording of a chargeable program by providing a timer circuit and setting up a password or a personal identification (ID) number in the timer circuit together with a receiving channel number, start time and a receiving period at a timer-reserved date. CONSTITUTION:In the case of contracting the reception of a chargeable program at the time of broadcasting it, a prescribed password or ID number is supplied from key input part 23 to a descramble 13 through a control part 22 together with the receiving time of the program. The password or ID number is the prescribed one, the descrambler 13 stsrts its operation and transmits the ID code and receiving time of the descrambler 13 to a management center through a telephone circuit connected to a telephone circuit connecting terminal 21 to offer a receiving contract. The ID code of the descramber 13 is superposed to the received broadcasting signal, the ID code of the descambler 13 in the received broadcasting signal is checked, a video signal inputted to the descrambler 13 is descrambled and the descrambled video signal is outputted together with a sound signal inputted to the descrambler 13. |
