PURPOSE:To enable even a beginner to properly generate chord constituent sounds without any complicate string pressing operation. CONSTITUTION:When a player thrums optionally pressed or open strings, the vibration of the thrummed strings is detected by a hexapickup 7 and converted by an A/D converter 9 into digital data, which are inputted to a CPU 10, so that the CPU 10 detects the scale corresponding to the string vibration. When chord data are inputted from a chord data input part 11, on the other hand, the CPU 10 calculates the interval difference between the scale of the chord constituent sounds indicated by the chord data and the scale of the string vibration and sends it to a pitch shifter 13. The pitch shifter 13 shifts and outputs the scale corresponding to the string vibration according to the interval difference. |
