PURPOSE:To decrease the frequency of key operation up to the selection of a character string to be inputted and to directly input the character string with character keys. CONSTITUTION:This method has a 1st step S3 wherein the 1st character of the character string to be inputted is inputted from an input part, a 2nd step S8 wherein it is decided whether there is the character string having the character at the head or not, a 3rd step S9 wherein a list of corresponding character strings is displayed when it is decided that there is the character string, and a 4th step S10 wherein the character string to be inputted is selected in the list of character strings. If it is decided in the 2nd step S8 that there is no corresponding character string, a return to the 1st step S3 is made and the 2nd character of the character string to be inputted is inputted; and it is decided in the 2nd step S8 whether or not there is a character string wherein the 1st and 2nd characters are arrayed from the head and when there is the character string, an advance to the 3rd step 89 is made, but when not, a return to the 1st step S3 is made again. |
