A connection device 1 comprises a first, conical part 2 for sticking through a plastics film P and a second part 3 at the base end of the first part 2. The first part 2 is provided with openings 5 from its peripheral surface into a cavity 5a therein, which cavity in turn is openly connected to the surrounding atmosphere through the second part 3. A circumferential groove 7 is disposed in the region between the first and the second parts 2,3. An annular, resilient element 12 can be moved from a withdrawn position into a position in which it bears against the edge section of the plastics film P next to the groove 7 and presses this edge section into sealing contact against the edges of the groove 7.
