SIC-BASED SLURRY FOR CAST-MOLDING

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a SiC-based slurry capable of producing sintered products free from cracks in good reproducibility on the aspect of the quality and useful for cast-molding. CONSTITUTION:A SiC-based slurry for cast-molding is characterized by employing SiC powder produced by cleansing the surface of SiC powder with an acid and further subjecting the cleansed powder to a thermal treatment in an oxygen-containing atmosphere to form a SiO2 coating film on the surface of the powder, in the SiC-based slurry used for a slurry cast-molding method.
