PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer body having excellent color balance in a halftone color and the thermal transfer body capable of outputting not only a design but also a distinct black character. CONSTITUTION:(1) in a thermal transfer body acquired by forming the heat transition dye layers of yellow, magenta and cyan onto a base material sheet, the difference of (MXalpha) of the heat transition dye layers of each color is set at 10000 or less when dye coating build-up is represented by M (g/m<2>) and the gram absorptivity coefficient by alpha. (2) in the thermal transfer body acquired by forming the heat transition dye layers of yellow, magenta and cyan onto the base material sheet, the difference of (CXalpha) of the heat transition dye layers of each color is set at 10000 or less when dye content is represented by C and the gram absorptivity coefficient alpha. |
