<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject metallic soap, capable of preventing trouble such as defective transfer or remaining in plates or blankets, excellent in printability without delaying the drying time after printing and useful for dryers, etc., for printing inks by encapsulating the metallic soap with a substance insoluble in organic solvents. CONSTITUTION:The objective metallic soap is obtained by emulsifying and dispersing a metallic soap in a substance insoluble in organic solvents, e.g. an aqueous solution of gelatin and gum arabic so as to provide 5-20mum particle diameter and microencapsulating the metallic soap. Furthermore, the metallic soap is dispersed in a vehicle or a solvent to afford a dryer for film-forming compositions.</p> |
