PURPOSE:To prepare an elastomer compsn. excellent in scratch resistance. weatherability, moldability, flexibility, and gloss by compounding a specific hydrogenated block copolymer, PP, a nonarom. softener for rubber, and a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer each in a specified amt. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. comprises 50-80wt.% hydrogenated block copolymer obtd. by hydrogenating a block copolymer comprising a polymer block consisting mainly of at least two kinds of vinylarom. compd. (e.g. styrene) and a polymer block consisting mainly of at least one kind of conjugated diene compd. (e.g. butadiene), 5-20wt.% PP or copolymer prepd. mainly from propylene, 0-45wt.% nonarom. softener for rubber (e.g. a paraffinic process oil), and a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (e.g. Pandex T-5000V, a product of Dainippon Ink and Chemicals, Inc. in an amt. of 5-20 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. the sum of the foregoing three components. |
