<p>A running speed signal (V) detected is input to a running speed detect means (3), and is permitted to pass through the second smoothing means which has smoothing characteristics similar to the speedometer indication independently of a running speed signal (Vs) smoothed by the first smoothing means (10) that is used for control. Thus, when a target speed set signal (Vr) is input, a target speed signal generation means (14) generates a second smoothed running speed signal which allows approximate agreement with a target speed desired by a driver.</p> |
