PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject fiber containing a polyester-ester block copolymer consisting of an aromatic polyester segment with an aliphatic polyester segment as one component, taking a three-dimensional spiral like crimping shape, soft and excellent in flexibility. SOLUTION: This latent-crimped composite fiber is composed of (A) an aromatic polyester segment consisting mainly of dicarboxylic acid units and diol units, in which >=70 mol % dicarboxylic acid units is an aromatic and >=70 mol.% diol units is a 2-4C aliphaticα,ω-diol unit and 1,4-cyclohexane dimethanol unit, (B) an aliphatic polyester segment consisting of at least one of the aliphatic polyester segment consisting of dicarboxylic acid units and diol units, and the aliphatic polyester segment consisting of hydroxy carboxylic acid units, in which >=60 mol % dicarboxylic acid is a 6-14C saturated aliphatic dicarboxylic acid units and >=70 mol.% diol units is a 5-12C aliphatic diol units, and has a weight ratio of the components A/B=(95/5)-(30/70).
