<p>A tube finning apparatus comprising a fin wrapping head (7) for dispensing a band of finning material onto a rotating tube (3). The head (7) is arranged to dispense the finning material onto the tube (3) in a manner such that a force is transmitted to the head (7) by the finning material in a direction parallel to the tube length. The head (7) is mounted so as to be readily displaceable along the length of the tube (3). The head (7) may be mounted on a trolley (13) supported on a portable table (4, 5).</p> |
