PURPOSE:To facilitate the formation of a transparent conductive film by adding a solution of a cellulosic compound in a high-boiling solvent to a mixed solution composed of at least two species of the organic compounds of indium, tin, and antimony. CONSTITUTION:A cellulosic compound is used for obtaining a viscosity and a thixotropy suitable for printing. For example, a paste is obtained by mixing 13.5wt% tin octylate, 1.5% antimony butyl alcohlate, 6.8% ethyl cellulose having a viscosity of 200sec., and terpinenol by means of a 300 mesh Tetron screen. Then, the paste is screen-printed on a glass base plate and then baked at 520 deg.C for 15min in the air to form an SnO2-Sb2O3 transparent conductive film which has a sheet resistivity of 6-8kOMEGA/m<2>, a thickness of approx. 2,300Angstrom , and a light transmittivity of 95% or more and which is most suitable for liquid crystal display element, etc. |
