OPTICAL LOOP TYPE NETWORK CONSTITUTION CONTROL SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To make it possible to automatically recognize the constitution of a node by successively performing acquisition processings for upstream/ downstream MAC addresses and a node state till a round of a loop is made by defining a node with which a manager device is directly connected as a basic point node. CONSTITUTION:When a control operation request from a manager device 200 is issued to a node A10, a control application part 83 within the node A10 collects the contents of a self node MAC address part 85, upstream/ downstream MAC address parts 86, 87 and a node state part 88 as control information and returns the information to the device 200 via a physical layer interface part 80. Next, the device 200 performs acquisition processings of the upstream/ downstream MAC addresses and the node state till the device makes a round of a loop based on node A10 control information. Thus, the constitution of the node can be recognized based on the relations.
