a) The invention relates to a process and a machine for manufacturing tubes from components preimpregnated with fibres/resin. b) The machine is characterised by: - a rotating mandril (1), of extensible cross-section corresponding to the internal cross-section of the tube to be produced, capable of being pressurised during the polymerisation of the plies and of being retracted in order to be extracted from the tube; - a input (entry) roller (2) and an output (exit) roller (3), these rollers being rotating, forming an input/output zone (4) and being parallel to the axis of the mandril (1); - a ply (5) surrounding the mandril (1) over part of its periphery, which part is defined by the input and output rollers (2, 3) in order to form a bending and winding (wrapping) zone, the ply (5) and the mandril (1) rotating with peripheral velocities which are equal or approximately equal; - the ply (5) receiving, upstream of the mandril (1), each preimpregnated component (8), aligned in the desired orientation, in order to drive it around the mandril (1) and to fix it thereto. <IMAGE>
