<p>PURPOSE:To control dynamically the number of information transmission channels connecting to a line of an integrated services digital network in response to a change in a transmission data quantity. CONSTITUTION:When a data transmission quantity of an information processing unit in excess of an allowable range is informed from a communication quantity detection section 23 to a communication quantity discrimination section 25, the communication quantity discrimination section 25 informs an instruction representing connection of a new channel to a line control section 24. Upon the receipt of the notice, the line control section 24 implements a prescribed control procedure to implement exchange connection between a new line and a B-channel of an INS network in use. Then the information processing unit uses two B-channels to implement data communication.</p> |
