PURPOSE:To provide a small-sized, inexpensitive image forming device by reducing the number of detection switches to be used. CONSTITUTION:A pressing projection 25 is pressed against the energizing force of a first spring 54 to separate a push lever 53 from a striker lever 52. When a fixing unit 20 is opened, the pressing projection 25 is separated so that the striker lever 52 is separated from an interlocking switch 51 and the switch 51 is turned on. When the cover 30 of an original reading part is opened, a second spring 55 fixed to a spring fixing part 36 is separated so that the striker lever 52 is rotated by means of the energizing force Fs of a spring in the interlocking switch 51 and the interlocking switch 51 is turned on. |
